Better than KEM or Copag Apr 17, 2010
By Mark S. Barone Jr. Whenever you see card reviews they're always rating cards "almost as good as KEM!". This is fine, but I feel like KEM is an overrated card, anybody who's ever kept them out in humidity knows they'll get destroyed.
Fournier (pronounced forn-yay) are absolutely my favorite plastic card on the market. The shuffle nicely, don't get cracked due to nasty humidity, and they have a great and feel look to them. The colors are deep and don't scratch off (like Copag). I've had them for 6 months now and they still retain their shape as if they just came out of the package.
The only complaint that some of my friends have is they're a bit more slippery so when you put the cards on the table the top card will slide off. To solve this it's really as simple as tapping the top of the card down (not even hard) and the cards won't slide. This works for all cards and it's hardly even a real complaint.
