Not the most impressive deck of cards, but it's Indy so... Jun 02, 2008
By jmmed This is the first deck of playing cards that I've purchased that are made by Cartamundi and I noticed that they seem flimsy compared to other decks. The coating on the cards doesn't appear to be as nice as other decks, I'm not sure whether or not that is the trend with this brand of cards.
Onto the images. The spades have images of the Crystal Skull, Diamonds have Raiders of the Lost Ark, Clubs have Temple of Doom, and Hearts have Last Crusade. Each card is very busy with up to 3 pictures per card. I find it distracting to play with these decks. The pictures are also not exactly of the landmark scenes of each film. Also, my deck came with three Jokers, I'm not sure why that would be as each are different.
I collect decks of playing cards, and I was disappointed when the long awaited indy decks came out.
